John
B.
Pyka is an award-winning
actor, singer and magician, as well as an award-winning theatrical
producer. For nearly 20 years John has thrilled audiences by fusing
theatrical forms to create unique and exciting entertainment products.
He has been seen on MTV's Spring Break, A&E's An Evening At The
Improv, and the touring cast of the Broadway musical Closer Than Ever.In 2000, John created Flip-Side Productions to promote his own brand of entertainment to theaters, dinner theaters and cruise ships. Currently, John offers theatrical entertainment to these venues as well as talent coaching and performance workshops, as well as custom production and directing services. One of John's most impressive talents is his ability to create unforgettable, larger than life characters who do amazing and impossible things. Among his signature characters are the 1940s zoot suited swing hipster "Big Daddy Cool" Johnny Dellarocca. Along with his Swing Kittens, John takes the audience back in time to the infamous Club Roxy in 1940s Chicago! John also appears as "Uncle" Eddie Sparks, the former Vaudeville star turned embittered children's television show host. Further, John has played some of the best loved characters in theater history like Daddy Warbucks, Marryin' Sam, Mr. Bumble, Teddy Roosevelt, and the Cowardly Lion! And when it comes to theatrical magic, John wrote the book. Literally. In August of 2007 John will release Theatrical Magic - The Book, published by Leaping Lizards Magic! In conjunction with the release of the book, John will be offering a lecture series to magic clubs and conventions, aptly called "Theatrical Magic - The Lecture." Are you an
